I AM A BEGINNER, CAN I JOIN?

The orchestra is for anyone and everyone of any age or ability to come and experience the magic of music. There are no auditions to join however players need to be comfortable with the classical repertoire.

In addition, if sections are already full there may be limited opportunities to play.

WHEN AND WHERE DO YOU REHEARSE?

When:

Monday evenings

WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DOES DRO PLAY?

We rehearse and perform a wide range of music from the classical and modern repertoire. DRO have performed music from movies and theatre as well as original compositions by Australian composers.

CAN I TRY IT OUT BEFORE I COMMIT?

Absolutely! If you're uncertain about joining, we encourage you to attend a few rehearsals first to see if it's for you.
